SRX-06: SRX Expansion Board
SRX-06 "Complete Orchestra" contains all the waveforms from Roland's popular SR-JV80-02 Orchestral," SR-JV80-16 "Orchestral II" and SR-JV80-13 "Vocal" collections. Selected waveforms from SR-JV80-07 "Super Sound Set" are also included. As such, SRX-06 provides 449 fresh, inspiring sounds for composers, film scoring or any situation where realistic orchestral and vocal sounds are needed.
This expansion board contains all of the waveforms used in
the SR-JV80-02 Orchestral, SR-JV80-13 Vocal, and SR-JV80-16
Orchestral II collections, along with specially selected
orchestral sounds from waveforms included in the SR-JV80-
07 SuperSoundSet. This board contains new Patches and
Rhythm Sets which combine the waveforms in a manner that
highlights the benefits of SRX Effects and Matrix Control.
Along with standard orchestral instrument sounds such as
strings, winds, percussion, and piano, the board also contains
a wide variety of choir and vocal phrases. These sounds can
be used in orchestral compositions, music for films, and a
wide variety of other applications.

* The parameter settings for Patches and Rhythm Sets are optimized for
the Fantom series, XV series, JUNO-G, MX-200, RD series with SRX
slots, MC-909, VR-760, and G-70 models, so there are some minor
differences in the sounds each instrument produces.
The included CD-ROM contains data reproducing the
original sounds of the SR-JV80-02, SR-JV80-13, and SR-JV80-
16. (Compatible models: Fantom (FA-76), XV-5080, XV-5050,
XV-3080, XV-88, XV-2020)
This expansion board utilizes a new format. Check the
system program version for your instrument, and if a
relevant upgrade is available, upgrade your instrument
using the appropriate system update program on the
included CD-ROM. (See p. 15.)
