SRX-07: SRX Expansion Board
SRX-07 "Ultimate Keys" contains all the waveformsfrom Roland's SR-JV80-04 "Vintage Synth,"SR-JV80-08 "Keyboards of the '60s & 70s" and SR-JV80-10 "Bass & Drums," plus select waves from SR-JV80-09 "Session" and SR-JV80-03 "Piano." With 475 all-new Patches and 11 Rhythm Sets, SRX-07 covers all the bases including some tasty loops.
This expansion board contains specially selected keyboard sounds
from waveforms included in the SR-JV80-04 Vintage Synth, SR-JV80-
08 Keyboards of the 60s & 70s, and SR-JV80-10 Bass & Drum
collections, along with waveforms from SR-JV80-03 Piano and SRJV80-
09 Session boards.
This board contains new Patches and Rhythm Sets which combine
the waveforms in a manner that highlights the benefits of SRX
Effects and Matrix Control.
Along with piano, electric piano, organ, and clavi sounds, this board
also features numerous vintage synth sounds. What's more, it also
includes top-quality bass and drum sounds from noted musicians, so
you can use these sounds for all kinds of pop music.

The waveforms included with this board are selected from the CDROMs
“BASS LEGENDS,” “BURNING GROOVES,” and “LIQUID
GROOVES,” produced by Spectrasonics, creator of many highquality
sound libraries.
* The parameter settings for Patches and Rhythm Sets are optimized for
the Fantom series, XV series, MX-200, RD series with SRX slots,
MC-909, VR-760, and G-70 models, so there are some minor
differences in the sounds each instrument produces.
The included CD-ROM contains data reproducing the original
sounds of the SR-JV80-04, SR-JV80-08, and SR-JV80-10. (Compatible
models: Fantom, XV-5080, XV-5050, XV-3080, XV-88, XV-2020).
This expansion board utilizes a new format. Check the
system program version for your instrument, and if a
relevant upgrade is available, upgrade your instrument
using the appropriate system update program on the
included CD-ROM. (See p. 19.)
